Training

Now that I am back home, a few things have been decided in my life. After reviewing my financial situation, I decided that it was time I attempted to make some money on my own. I have chosen to stay home in Reading and train at my house while trying to make a business out of training local athletes. Hopefully, I will be able to morph a training system that uses Dr. B's philosophies as well as the ideas from other past coaches I have trained under. I will then use the system to train numerous different types of athletes in numerous sports. I will be creating a website shortly so hopefully things get up and running and turn out for the better. I will certainly miss living in Kamloops and the great friends I made while there.

Sup Playa

I am not back in Berks County. I find it difficult to gather the urge to write a blog, especially since my parents decided to put as much shit on their computer to make it as slow as possible. Sometimes, I think that when they get a new computer, their sole goal is to make it as slow as possible.

The drive back from Kamloops was fairly decent. I made it in very good time and actually woke up the last morning by being "front-ended" by a tractor trailer. No damage so that was fine. Being back in Reading is nice and I have gotten back into training for a meet at the end of July. Should be fun. It is significantly humid here but it is still beautiful. I still have a fair amount of people I need to see and not much time to see them. I think I may end up flying back to Kamloops instead of driving. I am not sure if I can afford the gas and the insurance each month.

This weekend is Otto's wedding. I think it is going to be a great time. I have been working on my speech and toast as the best man. I am nervous but hopefully it goes well. I will be keeping it as short as possible...if Honest Abe only took 2 and a half minutes for the Gettysburg Address, I should not need much more time than that.

I found a good supplier of raw milk and things have been going well in Chiyo's garden.
