Why hath God foresaken me?

Sorry, I know that may offend some people but I am depressed about the Pats losing tonight. Right before Eli Manning had that ridiculous play and got out of the grasp of Vince Wilfork and Adalius Thomas a few words were uttered where I was watching the game. Two girls were saying how it was a good game and it was over and I of course notified them that indeed it was not over and the Giants could still win. Then that play happens and I buried my head. In reality, the Patriots could have easily won that game but I will be honest and say that the Giants played a better game. They simply executed better than the Pats. The Pats o-line was crap and this prevented Brady from every getting into a rhythm. Maybe the undefeated season started pressuring them, I do not know...pisses me off. At least my prediction at 3rd and Spruce from the beginning of the year held true that the Pats would make it to the Super Bowl. Now I am just disgusted that they did not finish it off. Yeah well, the Sens and Phils can still win championships in 2008.

Bill Belichick is a good coach, but also a sore loser and all around shitty human being. It was impressive how he ran off the field when there was still time on the clock, albeit one minute. He is a coward.

Hey, Belichick shook Coughlins hand and then left with one second left on the clock. No biggie. I truly believe that Coughlin is one of the worst coaches in the NFL. At least he shoved it in Tiki Barber's face.

Belichek is a complete asshole and the loss looks good on him. Just once I would like a reporter to say,'Hey, Bill! Without us publicizing the game to the fans, and without the fans buying tickets and watching the commercials between plays, you would be pumping gas somewhere. So, in the interest of those who pay your inflated salary, how about a comment - or at least a response that doesn't emulate a guy whose family has just died?'
Can't stand the man.

Whoa, how is Belichick an asshole? He gave a perfectly fine post-game interview, especially considering how visibly upset he was after a mind-blowing loss to one of the worst super bowl "champs" of all-time (granted they played a good game). Just because ESPN has cultivated this culture of rumor mills and hot stoves and Who's Now? to expand their one hour's worth of sports news into 24 hours doesn't mean that coaches are obligated to comment on every little thing and spew off drivel like "big players make big plays in big games." Obviously Belichick can't go TOO much into detail because that'd be revealing gameplans and stuff like that, so what more is there to say? The reporter asked him inane questions that any observer could answer. (ex. "When did you feel the game got out of hand for your team?") and Belichick was like, it was never out of hand! It was a really close game and the Giants got lucky and had the last full possession with 2:30 left. In conclusion, Belichick is a wizard-like god.

Ok, on a more level-headed note, I feel it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy then Bill Belichick. They lived dangerously for the past few weeks of the season and into the postseason and it finally bit them in the ass.

How don't you use your kicker from 47 yards away?

I agree that Belichick shouldn't have to be a puppet for the media and dance for every question but he's a pompous ass and deserves everything that is said about him if he doesn't want to speak otherwise.

Pitchers and catchers report oh so soon......

This goes out to anyone, if you're interested a bunch of people are getting Sunday game plans for the Phils. let me know if you're interested.
